Who is "White hat" hacker?

White hat hacker is a hacker which is completely legal. He is not like other hackers and crackers, he is doing his job in completely legal way.

What does he do?

He works for companies and his job is penetrating their security systems and finding weaknesses. Companies pay him for his work and they have a contract with him.
